I took a little stroll down the Wasilla Creek Trail after the winter’s first real snow. Missing is the picture of the duck I saw swimming in a semi-frozen Wasilla Creek…missing because it swam out of view before I could pull my camera to my eye. Also, I didn’t have the temporal fortitude to walk the whole trail. It gets REALY cold once you walk past the tree line.
